Through agile technology tools, functionalities, and inventions, including smart tech, apps, smart contracts, and NFTs, Pro2tect is providing an example for all conservation nonprofits to follow in the future.

"The ocean needs our help, and thanks to the incredible smart technology at our fingertips today, we are leveraging the power of tech to educate as many people as possible about what they can do to conserve our oceanic ecosystems," said Darren Fryer, Founder and Owner of Pro2tect. "We have scaled up and evolved exponentially, and believe we are sitting at a critical intersection of tech and conservation that can create a cleaner, safer future for all."

Presently, the Pro2tect team is developing a mobile app, Trash Slash, that is 20% through its development and UX/UI design.

Pro2tect has been proactively protecting the ocean since its founding, having held 12+ reef clean-ups along Maui's coastline. The team has removed over 1,200+ pounds of marine debris from the water, proving what's possible when people come together united over the preservation of the planet.

"We are living in a remarkable time with access to cutting-edge technology and algorithms that can save our oceans," said Fryer. "Spread the word today."
