This year alone the marketing giant has expanded their footprint to include four new locations throughout the Southeast. We took a moment to reach out to the branch managers of each of their new locations!
John Monk, a Mississippi native, helped the C2C team launch their Alexandria, LA branch earlier this year. The ninth largest city in Louisiana (Per Wikipedia), Alexandria is an amazing location to serve Coast to Coast Events' multinational telecommunications and entertainment clients! John spoke to us about what he has learned by completing the management training program offered through Coast to Coast Events' organization. "The experience of being able to not only develop and grow as an individual but also to be a part of other people's success is amazing. The energy created in the room is all dependent on what attitude you bring with you to work every day, and you can truly make a difference." John went on to say, "I believe that true success is not only about the money but about truly making a difference. Shortly after opening the doors of the Alexandria location, Cody led his team to Jackson, MS! Not only is Jackson the capitol of Mississippi, but it is the biggest urban center for all of Mississippi. Thomas Cargill stepped to the plate to aid in launching the Jackson, MS branch for the growing organization. With a background in sales and management, Thomas excelled through the management training program. We had a chance to talk to Thomas and asked him his favorite part of the journey to branch management. Thomas responded that he loved the ability to touch people’s lives. "It's not just a training program, it's an opportunity to teach and train others how to better their lives! It’s amazing to see real change throughout the training process, and I’m bless to be able to be a part of it long term." It is with such passion for training and leading that took Thomas to be named the number one branch manager nationally after six short weeks of running the Jackson location!
With the newest two locations left, we had the opportunity to speak with Jason Watkins and Marvin Williams, who will be spearheading the expansion statewide. Both managers trained side by side in the corporate headquarters in Birmingham, AL and competed against each other throughout training. Speaking with Jason, we asked him what the most difficult part of the training process was for him to overcome. "My attitude was my biggest obstacle. A lot of people have 'I want it now' syndrome. I had to learn to trust the process and with the help of my coaching and training here in Birmingham, I was able to grow out of my comfort zone, and be comfortable with the uncomfortable." Marvin spoke to us about his reason for going through the management program with us. "The company culture is what helped me through the management program! Everyone helps everyone. Everyone treats everyone like a family! Advice and help is offered all around – NO hesitation from anyone!"
