Ada County Sheriff’s Office Partners with TriTech Software Systems for a New Computer-Aided Dispatch and Mobile Platform

Key Facts:

-Located in the southwestern part of the state of Idaho, Ada County supports the state's largest population. The Ada County Sheriff's Office is the largest local law enforcement agency in the state, and its Communications Center coordinates police, fire, and emergency medical responses for all city and county public safety agencies within Ada County. As the primary Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) in the County, the Communication Center receives all 9-1-1 and non-emergency calls for the four law enforcement agencies, six fire departments, and paramedics who serve Ada County. The Communication Center has approximately 58employees and processes 468,000 calls per year.

-After a thorough evaluation which included an extensive request for proposal (RFP) process and hands-on demonstrations for 10 days, Ada County selectedTriTech's Inform CAD and mobile solutions to replace the County's existing CAD and mobile computing applications. In addition to delivering an updated, comprehensive dispatch and mobile solution, the new TriTech system includes interfaces to the County's ancillary applications. Integrating the TriTech software withthe County's systems will result in increased efficiencies and streamlined data flow.
