4Patriots applauds the University of Wisconsin-Madison for taking disaster preparedness seriously.
Nashville, Tenn., United States / ACCESSWIRE / August 1st, 2014 / Talking about being prepared for a disaster isn’t enough. Creating and testing an emergency plan is the way to do it.
Recently the University of Wisconsin-Madison staged a disaster preparedness test on campus in connection with a fun run at Camp Randall Stadium. The campus police department conducted a simulated bomb detonation, and officers from around the state rushed to the scene. The event was planned for 15 months and involved 20 state agencies and the FBI.
Nashville, Tenn.-based 4Patriots, which provides a variety of products that help people become more self-reliant and independent, commends the university for taking this action. Launched in 2008 as Reboot Marketing LLC, the company was named to the Inc. 500 list of fastest growing companies in America in 2013.
“What we keep seeing over and over again in our country are natural and man-made disasters that people are just not ready to handle,” said 4Patriots Partner Allen Baler. “These emergencies, caused by extreme weather and physical sabotage, take a far greater toll on those who are not prepared.
“There are many things that we can’t change, but we can achieve peace of mind by being prepared for any situation. We can stockpile nutritious food with a long shelf life, we can generate our own power with solar panels, we can purify contaminated water, and we can store and use a variety of heirloom seeds for a garden to provide an endless supply of great tasting food.”
4Patriots products include:
- Food4Patriots, a long-term food survival solution consisting of pre-packaged kits of survival food rated for 25 years of storage, available in 72-hour, four-week and three-month supplies.
