Groupe Athena, Inc Sets Release Date for Year End Financials Release, Reiterates Revenue Guidance

MUMBAI, INDIA / ACCESSWIRE / July 21, 2014 / Groupe Athena, Inc. (OTC: Pink sheets GATA) announced today they will release their financial results for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2014 after the close of the market on July 28.

The company also reiterates the previous full year revenue guidance posted March 10, 2014.

In other news, the company states they are making progress with respect to getting the license for Atorvastatin (generic Lipitor) for sale in the U.K. As previously announced, the initial license application will be for the manufacture and sale of 10 and 20 mg Atorvastatin.

The UK National Health Service states that it is saving approximately $1million GBP per day on Atorvastatin since the Lipitor patent expiration.

In addition to the Atorvastin license, the company is also conducting market research on other popular generics for license within the UK including the blood pressure medicine, Atenolol.

The Indian pharmaceutical industry was estimated to be over $21 Billion in 2010 and is expected to experience double digit annual growth through the end of the decade. GATA has emerged as a vital component of this growth by its ability to help Indian manufacturers get their products approved by the FDA for sales in the US.
