Citrix Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CTXS) shares closed down 7.48 percent on Thursday with a little over 18 million shares traded. Fourth-quarter sales rose 8% year over year to $802 million, which translated to adjusted earnings of $1.04 per share. Analysts expected earnings of just $0.98 per share on higher sales of $805.89 million. The company’s full-year guidance, which calls for revenue growth of 8%-10%, resulting in a range of $3.15 billion-$3.21 billion came in below estimates calling for 2014 sales of $3.25 billion.

Planda (OTC: PLPL) shares closed up 46.15 percent on a little over 4 million shares traded on Thursday. The stock hit a new 52-week high of $1.53 during intra-day trading.
