On November 12th, AMD announced that it has entered into a loan and security agreement for a principal amount up to $500 million with a group of lenders and Bank of America, N.A. acting as agent for the lenders. Ariad Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:ARIA) is an oncology company. It focuses on the discovery, development, and commercialization of medicines for cancer patients. It has focus on commercializing Iclusig (ponatinib), a cancer medicine; and developing additional molecularly targeted therapies. The company was established in 1991 and is headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

On November 12th, ARIA reported financial results for the third quarter of 2013. It includes revenue from Iclusig® (ponatinib). It also announced actions it is taking to reduce cash used in operations over the next two years. The company plan includes a previously disclosed reduction of approximately 40 percent of the Company’s U.S. workforce.
