ID Watchdog Announces Appointment of Two Board Members

DENVER - April 19, 2011 - ID Watchdog Inc. (“ID Watchdog” or the “Company”) (TSX.V: IDW, OTC: IDWAF), provider of consumer-facing identity theft protection and resolution services, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Mr. Arthur Cohen and Mr. Rick Gates to the Board of Directors of ID Watchdog. In conjunction with this announcement, the Company also announces the resignation of Tim Christin from the Board.

About Arthur Cohen:

Through a career spanning over 50 years, Mr. Cohen has left his mark on every aspect of the real estate industry as he has developed properties throughout the United States and overseas. As an innovator in the real estate field, Mr. Cohen developed and built with his partner, Aristotle Onassis, Olympic Tower on Fifth Avenue next to St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City, which was the first mixed-use condominium built on a ground lease. Other nearby New York projects he developed includes The Peninsula Hotel on Fifth Avenue and 55th Street and The Michaelangelo Hotel on Seventh Avenue and 51st Street. Mr. Cohen was also a partner in the Worldwide Plaza complex on Eighth Avenue and 49th Street in New York City and was responsible for the vast residential and commercial project known as Aventura in North Miami, Florida.

In recent years, Mr. Cohen has continued to be involved in real estate development and investment projects (including ownership interests in construction and facilities management businesses). He has also applied his expertise and financial support, as well as the benefit of his numerous industry connections, to numerous entrepreneurial ventures in a variety of fields of endeavor.

Mr. Gates has over 15 years of international political, finance and business development experience working for multinational firms. Currently, he is the managing partner of Pericles LP, a private equity fund, that focuses on technology, infrastructure, and real estate targets. Much of his work focuses on investment, business development and deal structures in Europe.


Mr. Gates has worked on several US presidential campaigns and has participated in many international political campaigns in Europe and Africa. Mr. Gates graduated with a M.A. in Public Policy from George Washington University and a B.A. in Government from The College of William & Mary.
