Accessible tools analyze email headers & SPF records, diagnose issues, scan for errant threats & more, incentivizing IT teams to leverage Trustifi's AI-driven capabilities

LAS VEGAS, NV / ACCESSWIRE / September 11, 2023 / Premier AI- and cloud-based email security provider Trustifi announced today that they have launched a roster of new, no-cost email security tools, giving IT administrator's greater insights into existing threats in their email data network. The tools include the new Email Analyzer, DMARC tool, ThreatScan, URL Defanger, and SPF Record Checker. Most of these complimentary offerings are accessible right on Trustifi's web site for users to try immediately under the "Tools" menu tab. They help users identify issues such as when and how a network user has been compromised by phishing, BEC (business email compromise), or domain spoofing attacks; identifying threats that have slipped through their existing filters; and providing analytics that will help them mitigate and act on those threats.

These features will help administrators derive details and intelligence on individual emails, diagnose problems within email messages, identify lingering threats, verify the authorization of domain names, help protect against spoofing attacks; and in general, gain a more comprehensive understanding of the dynamics of their company's email environment. The tools give administrators a taste of the innovative, next-generation capabilities of Trustifi's AI-driven cybersecurity solution suite.

Most of these new online tools can be accessed directly from Trustifi's website without any fees, sign-ups, or licensing costs. Others are available through a complimentary demo. Details on the individual tools are as follows:

Email Analyzer Tool: The Email Analyzer allows both users and IT administrators to drop the header of their email messages into a window on Trustifi's site. The tool immediately provides detailed information on the domain from which the email is derived, the safety of any of the links in the message, and more. (Alternately, users can drop an EML file into the window.) The tool will then detect and analyze security protocols including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, allowing administrators to confirm their email communications are properly secured. Email headers are broken down into an easily readable, user-friendly format that can provide insights into potential issues. For instance, the analyzer can identify why certain emails have been delayed in their delivery, or can verify emails to thwart phishing attempts.

DMARC Tool: This creates reports with insights into the stability, security, and authorization status of any domain name, to support domain protection. Once administrators establish proper authorization of their domains, they can more easily avoid spoofing events from non-authorized parties who might prey on improperly authorized sites, creating imposter versions. The easily-configurable DMARC tool provides spoofing control reports and analyses, alerting administrators to existing domain spoofing events. It can aggregate and display the volume of incoming emails that have been routed to any given system, providing visibility into the scope of damage from a brand imposter incident, including identifying and categorizing the top senders of emails from that compromised site. Companies and solution providers can request a no-cost demo of the DMARC Tool.

Trustifi ThreatScan: Trustifi's real-time ThreatScan Tool identifies potentially malicious messages that the user's current security email gateways (SEGs) and filters have missed. It scans a company's environment to reveal malware, viruses, or phishing attempts that have reached their system, creating notable vulnerabilities. In tests that Trustifi has done with prospects, thesethreat scans have flagged infected email content in 90% of the networks they have examined. Many compromised emails can slip through a company's existing security if they rely on traditional SEGs and IP blacklisting processes, as opposed to more advanced AI-based techniques that have recently been developed. The scan takes only minutes, and does not impact an organization's live environment. Businesses can schedule a demo by clicking here. There's no fee involved.

URL Defanger: The "Defanger" tool removes harmful URL coding from a suspect email message, making those links non-functional. The defanged, non-clickable messages can then be safely transmitted through email security appliances without triggering spam filters, reputation-based filters, or quarantine procedures. This is a vital resource for administrators, allowing them to securely share potentially malicious links with their support teams for analysis, in order to address and mitigate any threats that link may have presented.

SPF Record Checker: This intuitive search engine will display the SPF record for an individual domain name and conduct a series of diagnostic SPF validation tests for that record to confirm it is properly maintained. The diagnostics will highlight any errors found in the SPF record that could impact email distribution. An SPF record lists the mail servers that are authorized to transmit email messages on behalf of that domain. This process can detect unauthorized accounts, hijacked accounts, or spoof emails in the user's email environment.

"We've created these tools to help IT leaders do their jobs more easily, especially for organizations that may be relying solely on security offerings from broad, multi-purpose providers like Microsoft or Google. We've made these capabilities accessible to the market for no fee, to prove that businesses can gain greater protection and intelligence from an AI-driven, born-in-the-cloud cybersecurity provider," said Rom Hendler, CEO and founder of Trustifi. "Our powerful solutions go beyond the traditional SEG-based options that many companies simply use by default. The Trustifi team continues to develop tools dedicated to various elements of email protection, both complimentary and paid, in an effort to proliferate these next-generation capabilities throughout the business community."

Trustifi's comprehensive cybersecurity suite features a wide range of both inbound and outbound email data loss and threat protection. This includes easy-to-use and deploy AES-256 encryption; plus antimalware, antivirus, and data loss protection. The company employs state-of-the-industry AI-powered algorithms and tools to combat a growing base of threats created by malicious actors using sophisticated AI-driven tools. The solutions have been designed to be easily managed over a multi-tenant environment, allowing managed services providers (MSPs) and resellers to easily apply rules and reproduce policies over a variety of business clientele, so they can more readily grow their security practices.
