HENDERSON, NV / ACCESSWIRE / June 20, 2023 / DeSimone Gaming is expanding its growth into the Eldorado Valley area with the addition of a second truck stop and travel center. The project was fueled by the need for additional capacity at the existing center on the grounds of Railroad Pass. The new center will be directly west of the highway offering a unique hospitality synergy and will open in early August of this year.
Eldorado Truck Stop and Travel Center is the first new development in the Eldorado Valley. The $25 million project will be 12,000 square feet with room for over one hundred trucks with additional space for cars and recreational vehicles. Full services will be available including showers, truck washing and Shell fuel. Round-the-clock shuttle service will be provided to the Railroad Pass Hotel and Casino. Drivers will have the option of earning free gas and food credits by staying and playing there. Railroad Pass features the DeSimone Steakhouse and Iron Rail Café along with Capriotti's Sandwich Shop and SBARRO. The new travel center will add SONIC® Drive-In and Dunkin' Donuts to the food and beverage amenities.
The independent travel center is the second of its kind owned by DeSimone gaming. It is located on Railroad Pass Casino Road and is west of I-11. The center is either the first or last truck stop in southern Nevada for drivers heading north or south.
