Running almost parallel to their anniversary, Yenaé was featured on Afrimaxx on November 4, 2022 with plenty of praise from the media outlet's hosts. Afrimaxx is a weekly lifestyle platform that highlights cultural leaders making waves in Africa, covering a range of topics from beauty and fashion to interior design and culinary arts. The program is a collaboration between Arena Holdings Broadcast, one of Africa's leading broadcast networks for English-speaking viewers, and Deutsche Welle (DW), a German broadcast company. The show aims to spotlight makers and shakers doing big things in Africa, and Yenaé's culturally-curated jewelry is not only sustainably designed but amplifies the powerfully unique identities of African nations in all four corners. This year's interactive map is available to view on the company's website, and updates are frequently integrated on Yenaé's Instagram. The cartography showcases the majesty of the African continent along with standout pieces from each region, evolving as Yenaé mobilizes the African culture step-by-step. Slovakian graphics studio, Welpix, has been weaving light and shadow together since its founding in 2014, and is responsible for designing the golden cartography of Yenaé's interactive map.

It's no easy task to visit the sprawling continent of Africa, but Yenaé brings the magic to your doorstep with their authentic designs that exceedingly enchant and dazzle through every season, especially under the sun. Yenaé is the creative project of high-school friends Seble Alemayehu and Felekech (Fei) Biratu, both of whom grew up in Ethiopia. Their childhoods were painted with first-hand exposure to the artisans and craftsmen of Eastern Africa, and as a result the vision for Yenaé rides on the wings of African culture, history, and beauty across the continent. Due to the founder's proximity to authenticity, Yenaé provides jewelry lovers with a wholly African experience, where the traditions and local knowledge is never lost. With this, consumers are granted a piece of Africa that tells a story, drawn from the folklore and historical context of each nation.

The intricate romance and glittering diversity of Africa is carefully illustrated in the company's new geographic feature, placing their bespoke pieces against the dramatic and sprawling landscapes of the Motherland. This year, Yenaé is planning to release new collections that reflect new countries on the continent, and viewers are encouraged to follow along for the ride and see the might of Africa up close and in real-time, picking up a piece of ornate beauty on the way.
