Ghassan Almeer is a consultant musculoskeletal (MSK) radiologist located in Nottingham, United Kingdom. Originally from Damascus, Syria, Ghassan moved to the UK in the late 2000s. It was there where he started his first job in Hull Royal Infirmary, working in the foundation programme. He then had a brief stint as an educator at Newcastle University teaching anatomy to medical students. Since then, he has been heavily involved in various aspects of the medical field across the UK.
Ghassan Almeer has completed an MSK fellowship at the prestigious bone tumor center, the Royal Orthopedic Hospital in Birmingham in 2020 after his radiology training at Leeds Radiology Academy. Ghassan has also completed a diploma in Neuroradiology at the European Society of Neuroradiology (ESNR).
