RESTON, VA / ACCESSWIRE / November 29, 2022 / CACI International Inc (NYSE:CACI) was a proud sponsor of Technica for the second year in a row, advocating for greater diversity in the tech field. Hosted by the University of Maryland from October 15-16, Technica is the "world's largest hackathon for underrepresented genders." This year, more than 1,200 hackers, students, and technical professionals from 15 countries and 4 continents took part in the 24-hour hackathon.

CACI presented its own Ever Vigilant hackathon challenge, which tasked participants with creating a solution that would monitor network traffic via social media to maintain a proactive stance against cybersecurity threats. Two hackers were named winners and awarded prizes for the Ever Vigilant hack. The participants at Technica had the opportunity to attend workshops and hone their coding skills, practice tech skills relevant to their hack, and learn about new career paths and opportunities.

Through technical events such as Technica, university career fairs, and internal hiring events, CACI actively recruits talent to technical career paths. CACI opens doors for rising talent through the CACI internship program, which offers weekly enrichment seminars that provide insight and growth opportunities on necessary soft skills as well as panel discussions from key champions in the organization. From a kickoff with the CEO to ongoing leadership discussion, CACI supports the overall growth of interns throughout the internship process.
