No Minimum GPA Required for Unique Higher Education Opportunity
SMITHFIELD, RI / ACCESSWIRE / November 28, 2022 / Esler Companies is thrilled to announce open application and enrollment for its third annual Door of Opportunity Scholarship fund.
The program's mission is to provide graduating seniors from qualifying school districts in Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Texas with the financial resources needed to pursue avenues of education.
Applicants must demonstrate a financial need and can attend any accredited two- or four-year college or university; or technical/trade school. One of the unique aspects of this scholarship program is that no minimum GPA or test score is required. Applications will be taken until February 1, 2023, at 11:59 PM EST.
Those students chosen for the scholarship will be granted up to $12,500. Since the inception of the scholarship in 2020, the Esler Companies Door of Opportunity scholarship fund has awarded $1.5 million to 121 deserving students.
"Students have been exposed to so much recently, whether through social movements or economic struggles. We are encouraged by the passion and drive of our past applicants. Door of Opportunity Scholars are chosen for exemplifying self-reliance, positivity, persistence, and a passion for contributing to the world. Past recipients say the scholarship has been lifechanging.
