Public Now Decides Who Will Win a Free 12-Month Membership to the Popular Massage and Spa Franchise
ST. LOUIS, MO / ACCESSWIRE / September 27, 2022 / Ten deserving people are now finalists in the MassageLuXe Member of the Year contest. The finalists were selected from entries from the 70+ MassageLuXe franchise locations across the country. The winner, who will be decided by the public, will receive a free monthly membership to the popular massage and spa franchise for a year.
MassageLuXe is recognized as a brand that consistently delivers the highest standard of services in the membership-based massage, facial, and waxing industry. This contest is designed to celebrate and recognize members who use MassageLuxe services regularly to achieve better overall health and wellness.
Participants were asked to submit their reasons why they should be considered for the MassageLuxe Member of the Year award. Here are the top 10 finalists:
#1 - Emmaleigh credits MassageLuXe for providing affordable and easily accessible self-care she uses to help cope with depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Emmaleigh worked with a chiropractor for more than six months to try and relieve tension and pain in her body, but it was unsuccessful. It wasn't until she started getting monthly deep tissue massage at MassageLuXe that she began to finally feel better - in both her body and mind. She hopes to continue her path to improved mental health by winning the Member of the Year contest.
#2 - Overnight, Amber went from taking care of herself to taking care of three children when she was awarded custody of her cousins - aged 6, 14, and 16. She has had to cut out many extras in her life, such as eating out, vacations, and non-essential shopping in order to give the children the necessities they so desperately need. Amber has been struggling financially, and unless she wins Member of the Year, she fears she may have to discontinue her massage therapy sessions at MassageLuXe, which she says helps her cope with the pain of past injuries, tension, and stress, and most of all, her mental health.
#3 - Kristin uses MassageLuXe as part of her therapy as she battles to overcome OCD. As part of her treatment, she is required to expose herself to the things she is fearful of and that make her uncomfortable. This results in a lot of muscle tension. She still has a way to go until she completes her recovery, but she knows winning the Member of the Year contest will allow her to get to the finish line faster.
#4 - Neck and back pain was a daily occurrence for Myranda. Some days she even found it hard to turn her neck to look for hazards when changing lanes while driving, which is dangerous. She finally booked an appointment at her local MassageLuXe, where the massage therapists pinpointed the right touchpoint treatment for her pain. #5 - As an occupational therapist at a nursing home, Trisha is devoted to helping the elderly live their best lives. #6 - Alison survived an explosion in Afghanistan that left her with excruciating pain. The disabled veteran tried all sorts of painkillers, but nothing alleviated her discomfort like massage therapy. #7 - After a breast cancer diagnosis, Ashlee underwent six months of chemotherapy, 35 rounds of radiation, and an invasive surgery. She says the massages she received at MassageLuxe helped her recovery in so many ways, but mainly provided the relaxation her body needed after experiencing such trauma. Ashlee hopes to celebrate her survival with a free year of massages.
#8 - Lynn has been a member of MassageLuxe for more than 10 years. She says the treatments she receives have helped her mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. She has chronic back issues, which she manages through regular and consistent massage therapy. She also knows the benefit of massage therapy on a different level - she works with young families by teaching them infant massage. Her business has not fully recovered from the hit it took during the height of the pandemic, so the Member of the Year prize would help her financial improvement greatly.
#9 - Kelli has worked as a nurse for more than 20 years. While she finds her job incredibly rewarding, she admits it can be physically exhausting. After years of dedicating herself to the care of others, she decided to commit to taking better care of herself. The self-care services provided by MassageLuxe have helped Kelli through the pandemic, a time she says has been the hardest time of her career. She says being recognized as the MassageLuxe Member of the Year would be the icing on the cake.
#10 - A car accident left Sandra with four herniated discs and damage to both shoulders.
