COLUMBIA, MO / ACCESSWIRE / September 16, 2022 / Hippos Cannabis Dispensary officially announced its third retail location's Grand Opening event details today, including the highly-anticipated launch date of St. Louis Blues Hockey Hall of Famer Brett Hull's flower strain by Sundro Premium Cannabis.
Brett Hull #16 Sundro Premium Cannabis flower will launch exclusively at Hippos Marijuana Dispensaries and "The Golden Brett" himself will be in-person at the Columbia location on Saturday, Sept. 24 to meet and greet MO medical marijuana patients. Each patient who purchases this limited-edition strain will receive their product in a Brett Hull #16 box. The lux custom blue, white and gold box even includes a dedicated space for an autograph.
Hull is synonymous with greatness. Hull was a First Ballot Hall of Famer and appears throughout the NHL record books. "After teaming up with Hull a little over three years ago, we decided to develop a strain that emulated the man himself," said Nick Rinella, CEO of OG Yields. The Grand Opening celebration will feature local food vendors, music, autographed hockey jerseys and other limited-edition merchandise and swag. The first 86 attendees (an ode to Hull's remarkable '90 - ‘91 season in which he scored 86 goals and was named MVP of the NHL) will receive a complimentary gift bag and special menu pricing on several brands and products. The event will also feature product education by brand ambassadors and medical marijuana patient card sign-ups for those looking to renew or apply for MMJ certification.
Blues alumni Kelly Chase and Barret Jackman join Hull as Hippos investors and share his commitment to the medical marijuana industry and patients.

It is open 7 days a week, right next door to Starbucks. Normal daily hours of operations are 10AM to 8PM Tuesday to Saturday and 12PM to 7PM Sundays and Mondays. Their Springfield store is located at 2868 S. Glenstone Ave. opened this past April. Their first location at 17409-G Chesterfield Airport Road opened in November 2021 in Chesterfield, MO.
