VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / September 8, 2022 / The Jordan Sidoo Scholarship for Student Athletes is a scholarship that, as the name implies, is primarily geared towards students who are attending university while also actively participating in one sport. Despite Jordan's inclination toward soccer and rowing, the scholarship is open to all types of student athletes as long as they are planning on participating in a sport during their university as they complete their studies. . Furthermore, the scholarship is also accepting applications from any high school students who are about to graduate and plan on attending university while also having the intention to become a student athlete. Jordan will be awarding $1,000 that will go towards funding the lucky and deserving student's education and tuition fees. The student who will get chosen for the scholarship will be done through an essay competition of 1000-words that answers the question: "Describe why participating in athletics is important to you and how being a student athlete will better help you prepare for the future."
