American Water Solution Showcased on Capitol Hill

Monday, 01 August 2022 09:15 AM

MIAMI, FL / ACCESSWIRE / August 1, 2022 / RussKapWater.com - On Tuesday, July 26, 2022, RussKap Water, LLC, held an educational demonstration of their Atmospheric Water Generation (AWG) units on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. The company displayed the remarkable abilities of their AWG units as they generated clean and toxin-free drinking water from the moisture in the surrounding air (requiring no raw water source or any infrastructure).

Attendants at the event included members of Congress, representatives of Congressional offices, locals, and industry leaders in the fields of water, wastewater, environmental protection, and sustainability.

Ed Russo, CEO of RussKap Water, said, "This showcase, which included members and staffers on both sides of Congress, made clear that Washington is starting to recognize the problems caused by droughts and contaminated drinking water and the need for a solution. Inadequate water supplies are causing increasing damage to livestock and agricultural operations in western states, and in the midwest states are literally fighting over groundwater sources to meet drinking water needs. By using RussKap's AWG units, people can be ensured of an adequate and safe supply of drinking water that follows EPA recommendations."

President of RussKap Water, Yehuda Kaploun, remarked, "Unfortunately, our team has witnessed firsthand the damage caused by toxins in drinking water and we cannot ignore the countless children who were permanently harmed by lead in their drinking water. Access to safe and clean drinking water should be available for every human being, and it is our aim to enable that access."

House representative of South Florida, Carlos Giménez, whose office assisted in this demonstration, was quoted saying, "It is time for us to understand that there are innovative and viable solutions for clean and toxin-free drinking water."

Drinking water sourcing has recently become a center focus for countries around the world as groundwater supplies are shrinking and reservoirs are often being outright abandoned due to contamination. Within the U.S., numerous states have already begun rationing their water supply, and countless cities are struggling to meet drinking water safety standards with unsafe levels of PFAS, lead, arsenic, and other contaminants in the public water supply. These issues are longstanding and well-documented, and the demand for urgent solutions is increasing rapidly. Until now, the only response to this evolving crisis has been emergency provisions of single-use bottled drinking water - but this is only a temporary solution at best and the enormous build up of plastic waste is a serious environmental concern.

A Congressman from Texas, who's state recently dealt with drinking water shortages commented saying, "As you drive down roads in Texas it's hard to miss the plastic pollution resulting from the increased reliance on single-use plastic water bottles. Atmospheric water generation may provide a better alternative to bottled water as a solution for clean drinking water needs, and it's important for members of Congress to see and understand the technology. I thank the team at RussKap for pursuing and demonstrating their solution to the water crisis that affects us all."

In an effort to provide the world with a viable and long-term drinking water solution, RussKap Water has developed break-through AWG units that efficiently harness the abundant water supply within Earth's atmosphere. Their water-from-air technology has enabled a scalable and sustainable solution to the mounting global water crisis. With the ability to create clean drinking water on-site at the point of need, there is no longer a need to rely on transporting millions of plastic water bottles for drinking water. Each large-scale ‘OASIS' unit creates up to 200 gallons of clean drinking water per day - eliminating the need for up to 550,000 plastic water bottles every year; and each ‘Tiffany' unit creates up to 10 gallons of clean drinking water per day, eliminating up to 27,645 plastic bottles every year. Aside from the positive environmental impact, RussKap AWG units have redefined drinking water logistics on all fronts.

Additionally, by avoiding reliance on a raw water source, corrosive pipes, or polymer plastics, AWG circumvents potential sources of contamination that are associated with traditional water sourcing methods. This makes RussKap AWG units provide a truly reliable source of toxin-free drinking water, unlike tap and bottled water.

Business leader and social activist, Corey Jacobs, who attended the showcase event, commented on the display saying, "this technology has incredible potential and it can provide a perfect solution for the minority communities struggling with drinking water contamination. This is an issue that we have been trying to address for a long time and it's exciting to see a promising solution."

RussKap AWG units have been used in various operational capacities for military and commercial use, and have provided pre and post disaster relief in affected areas during Hurricanes Harvey (TX, 2017), Irma (FL, 2017) and Michael (FL, 2018), as well as forest fire relief in California. The utility of RussKap AWG units is tried and true, proving itself to be an effective and environmentally-friendly drinking water solution.

RussKap Water is an all-American company with skilled U.S. veterans behind the development of their AWG technology and a diligent core team. They are the largest supplier of AWG units to the U.S. Department of Defense and are recognized as the world's leader in water-from-air technology.
