Innovative battery technology like ARK anode technology is a Li-metal anode with a coating layer of MoS2. Molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) is an inorganic compound consisting of molybdenum and sulfur. These two work together to effectively eliminate or reduce the growth of dendrites on the Li-metals. Having dendrite growth results in lower energy density and the risk of fires.
ARK Cathode technology is a cathode component in the form of 3D carbon nanotube (CNT) with sulfur. This radically increases the energy density as well as the capacity of most batteries, including Li-S batteries.
