PHILADELPHIA, PA / ACCESSWIRE / June 30, 2022 / Barrack, Rodos & Bacine (BR&B) announces that it has filed a Notice of Voluntary Dismissal of the securities class action lawsuit filed on behalf of purchasers of shares of Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) between February 1, 2019 and April 28, 2022, inclusive, captioned CWA Local 1180 Members' Annuity Fund and CWA Local 1180 Administrative Benefits Fund v. Amazon.com, Inc., No. 2:22-cv-00907-BJR (W.D. Wash.) (the "Second Amazon Action"). Previously, BR&B had published notice on Accesswire, alerting investors to the pendency of the Second Amazon Action and informing them of the July 5, 2022 deadline to seek appointment as Lead Plaintiff, which was set by the publication of notice of the pendency of an earlier filed action, captioned Joyce v. Amazon.com, Inc., No. 2:22-cv-00617-JHC (W.D. Wash.) (the "Joyce Action").

As a result of today's voluntary dismissal all claims asserted in the Second Amazon Action have been withdrawn. The dismissal of the Second Amazon Action has no impact on the Joyce Action, and investors that wish to seek Lead Plaintiff status in the Joyce Action based on the allegations in the Joyce complaint continue to have until July 5, 2022 to file an application with the court.
