SEATTLE, WA / ACCESSWIRE / June 8, 2022 / Team GRIT, a game developer and game publisher based in Seattle, has announced its new title for the Epic Games Store. GRIT is a battle royale, third-person shooter set in the age of the Wild West made using the Unreal Engine.
The two main obstacles in the game are other opponents and a roving storm that threatens to eliminate players who are caught unaware. Players can overcome the first trial by customizing their combat loadout. GRIT offers over 20 different weapons, granting players a wide array of loadout combinations, and players can customize their in-game avatars to further personalize their gaming experience.
Players can stay out of the storm's path by planning ahead, or by outracing it either on horseback or by hitching a ride on a locomotive found on the map. GRIT offers a variety of play modes such as Train Chase and Golden Horse where players can go solo or play with friends in pairs or groups. Players engage in showdowns either on foot, on horseback, or while riding on a steam engine rooftop.
Each mount can run at multiple speeds, and players can use them to store additional loot as they explore and fight through the map. GRIT also has a day-night cycle, which adds a new tactical challenge for players as they fight to be the last one standing.
GRIT is available to play on PC through the Epic Games Store. Interested players can meet each other, gain allies, and build the community further through the game's dedicated Discord server.
