The esteemed list from CRN, a brand of The Channel Company, honors the incredible accomplishments of female leaders in the IT industry. Those named on the annual list come from all corners of the channel - including vendors, distributors, and solution providers - and exhibit a vision and expertise that make an impact on the industry every day.
May, a 24-year veteran of the IT channel, joined the still-new GTDC in 2002 and has been actively involved in building its membership, developing events and programs, and advocating on behalf of the association.

In recent years, May has played an integral role in developing the GTDC's Vendor Advisory Council (VAC), which helps to facilitate interactions in the distributor community. The VAC's collaborative and interactive nature has offered a comprehensive view of key opportunities for better cooperation, efficiency and partnerships. May has also assisted in the development and promotion of the GTDC's research projects, spearheaded the launch of the new "Beyond Distribution with GTDC" podcast featuring industry executives and thought leaders, directed the launch of a webinar series emphasizing the value of distribution, accelerated the company's public relations activities, and boosted the GTDC's social media presence.
