SEATTLE, WA / ACCESSWIRE / September 8, 2021 / Monetizing an athlete's personal brand can be very challenging, most especially without the help of a sports management team that will get them the right connections, sponsors, and contracts. Disruptive Sports, an emerging full-service sports agency, is revolutionizing the industry with its innovative approach to managing athletes. The agency's top priority is to empower its athletes to achieve generation wealth by leveraging their exceptional performance on and off the field.

Disruptive Sports is committed to giving its athletes exciting opportunities commensurate to their hard work and performance. It helps athletes earn significantly by negotiating large contracts, creating equity partnerships, and monetizing the athlete's brand. The agency has set its eyes on helping athletes from minority groups. Apart from helping them close steady cash compensation, it also works on procuring equity deals for its players so that they can work on their future financial stability through promising business opportunities and effective money management.

Its founders Henry Organ and Hector Rivas, envisioned establishing a company that is inclusive and supportive of the passion of athletes regardless of the color of their skin and background. Organ is an African American and is a certified NFLPA sports agent who recently negotiated Kendrick Bourne's second contract with the New England Patriots worth $22.5 million covering the next three years. He started his career at Nike doing marketing for the football brand. After his Nike stint, he went on to work in a sports agency based in Seattle. While there, he also established a sports modeling agency for former athletes. Organ finished his college education at Portland State University and completed his Master's degree at the University of San Francisco. He is the grandson of well-known surgeon Dr. Claude Organ, the second African American president of the American College of Surgeons.

"There were a myriad of reasons that motivated me to start the Disruptive Sports Agency. Prior to the pandemic, I had a vision of what I saw happening in the future, and that change is already starting to happen slowly but surely," Henry Organ revealed. "Overall, you are seeing players represent themselves and collegiate athletes being able to make money off of their name, image, and likeness."

Co-founder Hector Rivas was the founder and former CEO of Thriftbooks and EcoGoodz. He is the principal investor that paved the way for the creation of Disruptive Sports. In the past 15 years, he has successfully established multiple businesses and has managed to sell two of them. He finished his college degree at Brigham Young University. He is of Guatemalan heritage and moved to the United States with his family in the 1970s.

"There is nothing more satisfying than building a brand from scratch and seeing an idea that was written on a whiteboard turn into something living and tangible," Hector Rivas explained. "It is much easier to sell your vision to clients, employees, and investors when you are passionate about a brand that you've created."

Just recently, Disruptive Sports closed a remarkable deal for its athletes Kendrick Bourne and Brennan Scarlett with Zohmo, a premium iPhone battery case company. The deal includes cash compensation and an equity stake at Zohmo. As part of the contract, Bourne and Scarlett will become brand ambassadors and sponsored athletes of the company.

Its founders see the sports agency becoming the largest of its kind in the country in the next five years. They also envision hiring ten in-house agents in baseball, basketball, football, boxing, and the entertainment industry. Overall, they want to grow Disruptive Sports enough to even out the playing field for all kinds of athletes who wish to build a sports career. The agency will make sure that anyone who has ever dreamed of becoming a sports superstar and who is willing to work for it deserves a shot at having that dream come true.
