Associates Home Loan Adoption Grant

A couple hoping to be parents was given the annual Associates Home Loan Adoption Grant. The $1,000 awarded to the married couple is provided to help with the expenses related to the adoption process.

TAMPA, FL / ACCESSWIRE / July 20, 2021 / Associates Home Loan is yet again announcing this year's grant awardee for adoptive parents. The recent $1,000 financial assistance from the loaning company is received by Ram and Anjali Das, a couple who will be adopting from Building Blocks Adoption Service located in Medina, Ohio.

Going for the process of adoption is no easy feat. Many couples have to go through a series of interviews, background checks, visitations, and payments in order to take their adopted child home. This seemingly selfless endeavor is met with many obstacles, which can be discouraging for some couples who sincerely wish to adopt but do not have enough resources.

A study in 2010 revealed that 1 in 10 adoptions fail before completion, and one of the main factors is the couple's finances. International adoptions can even be more costly, with many fees shouldered by hopeful parents. This is where Associates Home Loan wishes to be a part of the solution--by providing an annual grant to adoptive parents, they can ease the financial burdens during the whole process. Being a company that believes in the importance of having a family and a home to belong to, Associates Home Loan established the grant program with the orphans and parents in mind.

The recent winners, Ram and Anjali Das embodied that ideal picture of adoptive parents. Anjali is a special education teacher whose passion lies in caring for students with unique needs.

"Anjali has been a Special Education Teacher for 13 years. She loves her job! She has worked with several kids from the foster care system and has experience with trauma-informed care," they mentioned in their application.

Ram is a professional in a successful company and a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews.

"Ram has a successful business career at a multinational company. He is the favorite uncle to many nieces and nephews, and keeps everyone laughing!" they added.

The couple believes that their love for children along with the desire to become parents is what makes them a great fit as receivers of the grant program. Ram and Anjali also experienced many struggles in their journey to being parents. They experienced multiple pregnancy losses; and after some time, adoption was their beam of light in the moments of darkness. Now, they are looking forward to becoming adoptive parents--they have ultimately witnessed the need for many children to have a loving family.

"We are encouraged to build our family through adoption, and we decided it was the right time. Several of our nieces, in-laws, and friends have been adopted. In addition, Anjali volunteered for a year in Guatemala at an orphanage and experienced firsthand how important it is for children to have a family," the couple mentioned.

As first-time parents, they are looking forward to the completion of the adoption process with the help of Associates Home Loan.

"We look forward to raising a child to be brave, healthy, caring, and intelligent," Ram and Anjali wrote as they finished their application.
