LONDON, UK / ACCESSWIRE / June 25, 2021 / Few people have seen the planet like David Yarrow has. A world-renowned fine art photographer, author, and conservationist, he's celebrated for his evocative and immersive photography of life on earth. Now, fans of his work are invited to take a look behind the lens, courtesy of Yarrow's wildly popular photography podcast - In Focus.

In Focus, David Yarrow's photography podcast, grants listeners unprecedented access to the famous photographer's creative process. Promising an insight into life behind the lens, Yarrow and his team recently uploaded episode five.

Across its episodes, In Focus by David Yarrow takes listeners on a journey swimming in the icy waters of Norway, through negotiations with North Korean hijackers, and explores photographing the world's largest elephant. Glasgow-born Yarrow does all of this, he says, in search of photography that transcends.

His massive social media following is a testament to his incredible work, amassing a total of over half a million fans on Instagram and Facebook alone.

Launched earlier this year, In Focus has already received a considerable amount of positive press attention. In the space of just a few short months, talk of Yarrow's podcast has made the pages of The Times, the Financial Times, The Guardian Guide, Digital Camera World, The Sunday Post, The Daily Record, and more.

In Focus has also been picked up by the Good Life Project, Air Mail, Pod Bible, The Best Life, and others.

Introducing episode five of the David Yarrow photography podcast, In Focus

“Amboseli National Park may not be the chosen destination for tourists in search of the so-called Big Five, but what it lacks in a breadth of animals it more than makes up for in elephants,” reveals David Yarrow, introducing the latest episode of In Focus, simply titled Amboseli.

The national park in Kenya, Yarrow goes on to explain, is where he captured his majestic images Africa (2018), Squad (2019), and The Circle of Life (2015). 'In this episode of In Focus, I'll take you on an adventure through the stories behind the shots,' he adds.

Previous episodes of the fine art photographer's podcast include The Killers, North Korea, Polar Bears, and Mankind. Episode one-The Killers-focuses on one of the few places in the world where there's a possibility of capturing a killer whale on camera.

Meanwhile, episode four-Mankind-sees Yarrow recall his travels in South Sudan where he photographed the Dinka people in the shot that made his career, Mankind (2015).

During his career, the fine art photographer, author, and conservationist has traveled to some of the planet's most isolated locations to capture images of landscapes, indigenous communities, and wildlife. When he's not traveling, he currently resides in London.
