JACKSONVILLE, FL / ACCESSWIRE / May 24, 2021 / ParkerVision, Inc. (OTCQB:PRKR) announced today that it has filed a complaint in the Western District of Texas against South Korean multinational electronics company, LG Electronics, Inc. ("LG"), for the infringement of ten of its U.S. patents. The law firm of Daignault Iyer is representing ParkerVision in this action.
ParkerVision CEO Jeffrey Parker commented, "ParkerVision continues to verify situations where our patented RF technologies are being used without authorization. LG utilizes what we believe are infringing WiFi chips in many products including televisions, thus benefiting from the small size, low cost, and excellent performance that has been enabled by ParkerVision's patented technologies. While we are always amenable to finding a mutually beneficial business arrangement, we are fully prepared, if needed, to see this case through to trial in order to protect our patent rights."
