The global STEM event brings together a dynamic partnership that includes leading figures in program coding, math and space exploration. Students will connect through an interactive, live conference hosted by India's own, Mini Mathur, a leading television host and presenter. Attending guests include Dr. Jo Boaler, The Nomellini-Olivier Professor of Mathematics Education at the Stanford Graduate School of Education and co-founder of youcubed.org, Donald G. James, Former Associate Administrator for Education at NASA, and Leonardo Ortiz, VP of International Partnerships at code.org.

The event is open to everyone and will be streamed live on April 24, 2021 at 5 PM IST, and 7:30 AM EDT, on YouTube.

The learning conference and summit will incorporate three main channels of exposure and teaching for students participating:

  • Developing the Mathematical Mindset
  • Space Tech: Breaking Myths
  • Demystifying AI & Coding With Purpose

For those interested in mathematics, Dr. Jo Boaler will lead her challenging but entertaining webinar session, teaching students about the power of Brain Science and having the right Growth Mindset when approaching formulaic learning concepts. Viewers will see the result of high-end mathematics with modern data science applications and connecting textbook theory to real-world examples to motivate students.

Space exploration has plenty of stories around it, and the movie business hasn't slowed down, creating lots of myths and assumptions about what travel in space involves. Donald G. James will introduce students to the fundamental aspects of today's space exploration and how students can begin to prepare for a career path in the field when they get older.

Programming today is far more than producing another application for the office or a game. Leonardo Ortiz will walk students through the fast-developing world of artificial intelligence and how AI is redefining the world around us as we know it. Ortiz will also show students how coding projects are having substantial positive impacts on communities near them and around the world in health, social development, education, business, and environmental protection.

Each of these sessions will also challenge participating audience members with quizzes, challenge labs, exercises, and surveys. There will also be a ceremony and awards for students and teachers who go above and beyond their peers in results and performance.
