Philanthropist Eric Baird donates an incredible $1 million to the Education Foundation of Sarasota County.

In a recent showing of immense generosity, Baird gifted an astonishing seven-figure sum to a leading local education foundation, destined to support the area's public school teachers.
Donating a total of $1 million to the Education Foundation of Sarasota County, the entrepreneur's seven-figure financial gift made for huge and immensely welcome news in the area.

Their representative went on to explain how the 2,850 instructional staff employed by Sarasota County Schools would each receive a $350 check. For use professionally or personally, this would come as a direct result of the local entrepreneur and philanthropist's fantastic generosity.
The school district's post on Facebook, which attracted upwards of 500 'likes' and a total of over 200 comments and shares, further thanked the philanthropic business visionary. "Thank you, Mr. Eric Baird, for supporting and elevating Sarasota teachers," said the post, before concluding, "We are so excited!"
Proud to serve as a catalyst to promote academic and personal growth among students, Sarasota County Schools is an A-rated school district local to Baird. The district's mission, it reports, centers upon striving to fulfill its promise of a caring and committed culture in Sarasota County's schools and local communities.
The Education Foundation of Sarasota County, meanwhile, is on a corresponding mission to demonstrate how transformative education can be. It does so by helping students to graduate with a purpose wherein which they're fully prepared to lead successful lives.
Founded in 1988, the nonprofit organization was established to prove that effective education and thriving local communities are inextricably linked.
More than 100 individuals reached out to thank Eric Baird for his generosity following his gift to the Education Foundation of Sarasota County.
