Patients pay only $50 per month/per medication, and there are no enrollment fees, shipping fees, or other costs of any kind.

STUART, FL / ACCESSWIRE / March 18, 2021 / In an effort to help patients significantly reduce their costs of buying prescription medications - which since 2014 have surged 33 percent - Prescription Hope, one of the largest patient assistance program (PAP) administrators in the U.S., is highlighting their simple eligibility guidelines and enhanced coverage benefits.

PAPs, which are offered by several U.S.-based pharmaceutical manufacturers, have been in place for several years and are designed to help financially challenged individuals and families reduce their prescription medication costs. However, many people are not aware that these programs exist. In addition, the approval process can be complex, and various PAPs have different rules.

"Our goal at Prescription Hope is to make the PAP enrollment experience easy and stress-free, and help as many patients as possible get the prescription medication that they need at an affordable price," commented Douglas Pierce, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Prescription Hope.

With respect to Prescription Hope's simple eligibility guidelines, individuals need to earn $32,000 per year or less, or have a combined household income of $50,000 per year or less. These guidelines increase with each additional dependent (three or more individuals) in households with a combined income of $100,000 per year or less.

Furthermore, individuals can enroll regardless of whether they have or do not have health insurance, and there is no limit to the number of medications that they may be eligible to receive. Medicare recipients may also be eligible.

"Various PAPs have different rules for when, how, and to what extent they can help Medicare recipients," commented Douglas Pierce, whose company recently opened a new 30,000 square foot headquarters in Stuart, Florida where it is creating quality long-term jobs in the local community. "Medicare recipients who call us and request that we research their eligibility can be assured that there is absolutely no cost for us to look into the matter for them. The only time they will be charged is if we can help them save money."

In terms of enhanced coverage benefits, patients who are ultimately enrolled in one or multiple PAPs will pay only $50 per month, per medication. There are also no enrollment fees, no shipping fees, and no other costs of any kind. In addition, medication refills are included in the Prescription Hope service, and facilitated by a trained and dedicated team of Patient Advocates who can be reached by phone or email.

"The overwhelming feedback that we get at Prescription Hope is that patients wish they had found us sooner, because we make the enrollment process so easy, and the amount we help them save is significant - and in some cases, it is literally life-changing," commented Douglas Pierce. "On top of this, many of our patients are pleasantly surprised to learn that they will not be receiving generic medications. We help them get the exact same brand-name medications shipped directly to their door. All that changes is the price - and in a good way!"
