Tips for working creatively at home with Microsoft Teams according to Adam Katz Google

NEW YORK, NY / ACCESSWIRE / January 21, 2021 / As a large portion of the nation continues to work from home during the COVID-19 pandemic, Microsoft Teams has become a necessary tool for effective collaboration, according to Adam Katz Google. It's allowing for companies to stay afloat, workers to stay safe, and life to go on. In fact, without Microsoft Teams and the Internet, this couldn't be done, says Adam Katz Google.

For this reason, Adam Katz Google discusses some of the lesser-known features of Microsoft Teams that will help you and your team work together seamlessly.

One of these lesser-known features is forwarding your email messages into a channel. "Since we rely so heavily on email for communication, Microsoft Teams has made it possible to forward your Outlook email directly to a channel. All you have to do is click the ellipsis located next to any of your channels, click "Get Email Address" and you can begin forwarding documents and other communication," says Adam Katz Google.

If you belong to multiple channels, you can easily customize your notifications. According to Adam Katz Google, this prevents unwanted interruptions when you're in a meeting. To do this, simply click on your profile picture located in the top right corner and select the Notifications tab. Now you can select how and when you want to be altered. Another great feature of Microsoft Teams is that you can chat with anyone in your organization, regardless of if they're on your team or not, according to Adam Katz Google. You can invite a guest into any chat as long as they have an Outlook account.

"A lot of companies have gone global," says Adam Katz Google. "And you're now dealing with people who speak other languages. Microsoft Teams has come up with a way to break down the language barrier and it's really exciting." According to Adam Katz Google, Microsoft teams can translate any language instantly. To do this, click the ellipsis on the message and click translate. From here, select the language you want the message translated to.

"Microsoft Teams is full of amazing features that make working from home more effective and actually fun," says Adam Katz Google. "You can even make your own GIFs to increase employee morale."
