"The Scholarship 250 Fund was created to provide opportunities for those who may not have considered real estate as a career, or felt there was too many barriers blocking their entry," said Louis Mirando, chair of the Fordham Real Estate Institute's Executive Advisory Council and founder and principal of Streamline Realty Funding, LLC. "We are a mission-driven University, and in addition to training successful people, we want to train ethical people. We want to be equitable in the opportunities for students. The Scholarship 250 Fund will provide the tools for these students to compete in the marketplace, which will make our industry stronger."

These scholarships will support programs for high school students (online and in the summer) to learn more about careers in commercial real estate in addition to providing high school and college graduates the opportunity to obtain a professional certificate, bachelor's degree, or master's degree in real estate, construction, or development through the Fordham Real Estate Institute.
