"I've always been outside of the box, I don't color inside the lines, and I never have," says Nina.

This free-spirited mentality made holding a job as a young adult difficult, as Nina always felt drawn to something greater.

"I quit a lot of jobs and I was fired from even more jobs," she says with a chuckle.

Looking back, she speculates that that was just God's way of steering her in a different direction.

"Even then, I knew I was built for something more, I just didn't know how to find it," she explains.

Decades later, after a series of successful and failed business ventures, Nina is finally living in her full potential and has made it her mission to help others do the same.

At 35, Nina was newly married and a new mother, living in Palm Desert, CA when she founded her first business, a wellness center. At first, this business was massively successful, she had all the knowledge to elicit results in her client's lives which allowed the business to rapidly scale. However, she didn't know the first thing about running a business or leading a team of employees.

"Perhaps because I was such a poor employee myself, I had no idea how to support my own employees," Nina muses.

Over the next three years, her business endured every financial malady imaginable, from theft, embezzlement, lawsuits, and bankruptcy.

"We were truly put through the wringer," Nina recalls, "However, I'm thankful for that experience because it taught me what not to do in business."

Eventually, Nina made the difficult decision to close the doors of her first business and after a brief hiatus, picked herself back up, and started again. Her next venture was the Majestic Wellness Academy, where she developed her signature treatment Xtract, which is a lymphatic drainage technique. Over the next 7 years, she trained 800 students on the healing modalities and has helped thousands of clients achieve results.

Unfortunately, a business largely centered around physical touch was bound to suffer amidst a global pandemic. Once more, Nina was forced to pivot. Fortunately, by this time, she had experience starting two businesses, one of them as the co-founder of The Coachanaire Institute, and understood how to nurture and lead a team of employees. As she looked outward, she saw thousands of other business owners struggling to adapt to their new normal. Armed with a desire to help others navigate the changing tides of their lives, Nina founded One Box Fits All, a revolutionary coaching program aimed at helping entrepreneurs, coaches, virtual agency owners, and authors establish their authority within their unique brand through IP (Intellectual Property) development. The monthly membership provides clients with all the tools and resources they need to scale their businesses, identify their target market, and land their ideal clients.

"No one is meant to go through their journey alone, now more than ever, we need the support and mentorship of others who have walked similar journeys before us," says Nina.

As entrepreneurs and coaches navigate a shifting world, Nina is prepared to come alongside them and offer the support, guidance, and expertise to help them see success. As many prepare to undergo a business or career transition in 2021, Nina offers the following advice.

1. Be open to change. You never know what great thing could be right around the corner.

"You'll never hit a homerun if you never swing the bat," says Nina.

2. Don't focus on perfection. Nina often sees her coaches internalize their business ideas and be reluctant to put their program or product into the world until it's "perfect."

"Unfortunately, perfect is pretty hard to come by," says Nina, " My strategy has always been to put the offering out into the world, see how it is received, and then pull back and tweak as necessary. If you're waiting for perfect you're probably never going to find it."

3. Take one step at a time. The process of getting started can be overwhelming, but Nina urges coaches to take it one step at a time, even if you're starting from nothing, you could have a flourishing, successful business in a matter of months.

Regardless of where an entrepreneur or coach is on their journey, they can benefit from the support and guidance of a coach of their own. With Nina's signature process, Prepare, Build, Create, Reach, and Win, coaches in any industry can navigate a changing world and find success.
