After years spent pursuing a graduate degree, Tony Chang realized that he was not truly happy with what he was doing with his life. "I went through a period where I had a negative balance in my checking account and had to use my points from my credit card to keep afloat," Chang shares. "The most difficult challenge that I am so happy to have overcome is really having self-worth, self-confidence, and self-acceptance to put myself out there for the world to experience."

Navigating through the ups and downs of everyday life, Chang realized what he desired emotionally, spiritually, and fiscally. He attributes this epiphany to the financial independence book Rich Dad Poor Dad, written by entrepreneur Robert Kiyosaki.

A newfound realization of his desire for financial freedom led Tony Chang towards a whole new career path and brand-new challenges to overcome. Spending time working various odd jobs, Chang's life made a turn in the right direction have a circumstantial encounter with the CEO of Ablaze international, a well-established jewelry corporation. Landing a job with Ablaze, Tony spent six years learning the industry's ins and outs and developing a passion for jewelry. In 2018, Chang took his newfound knowledge and spirit for the jewelry industry and put it into a business of his own, Super Jewelry Co.

The idea of starting a business of his own was inspirational for Tony Chang, but he would need a whole lot more to overcome the new challenges that were in store for him. "I went through mental breakdowns because I was so used to being an employee, but when I got into business for myself, I literally had to put my old-self and mentality to death," Chang shares of becoming his own boss. Relying on self-determination, as well as the net of emotional support he had built around himself, Tony Chang felt ready to take the jewelry industry head-on.

Super Jewelry Co is thriving with a strong brand identity and looking to expand to a broader market. Putting the customers first has built a feeling of reliability and trustworthiness around the Super Jewelry name and Tony's personal brand. "I put myself out there for the world to see," Chang made clear. "I get back to my clients within 24 hours after they have contacted me. I make it easy for them to do business with me by interacting with them as I would a friend." With a wise head on his shoulders, Tony Chang has the ability to take Super Jewelry Co global, and he is looking to do just that.
