Outsized Demand for TMNT: The Last Ronin, Eastman and Laird's Tale of a Dystopian TMNT Future, Drives the Largest Comic Book Reprint in IDW's Publishing History

The debut issue of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin, based on an unpublished 1987 story concept by TMNT co-creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, sold out immediately after hitting the stands on October 28th. Surging pre-orders prompted a whopping 50,000-unit new print run featuring a re-colored cover by Eastman, Esau Escorza, and Isaac Escorza - the largest such run in IDW's history. The epic TMNT tale takes place in a future New York City far different from the one we know today, where a lone surviving Turtle goes on a seemingly hopeless mission to obtain justice for his fallen family and friends.

IDW Celebrates Native American Heritage Month with Publication of Redbone: The True Story of a Native American Rock Band

The intriguing history of high-flying rock pioneers Redbone is beautifully presented in IDW‘s powerful graphic novel, Redbone: The True Story of a Native American Rock Band. Created in cooperation with Redbone founder Pat Vegas, authors Christian Staebler and Sonia Paoloni and artist Thibault Balahy recount the fabulous story of the creation of the first rock 'n' roll band made up of all Native Americans. Part biography and part research journalism, Redbone tells a vivid story about this neglected but important chapter of American history. IDW Publishing has also released Redbone in Spanish for distribution throughout North America.
