Tasties Seasonings and Sauces will launch online on Friday, November 13, 2020. With momentum already building on social media, the new line will kick off with four sauces and three gourmet seasonings: BBQ, Buffalo, Lemon Pepper, and Seafood Bae; and Everythang, Garlic & Herb, Seafood Bae seasonings. Customers can text "Tasties" to 31996 for a secret recipe and to be the first to shop the new collection! Devan is the first restaurant owner in Philadelphia to develop a signature line of seasonings and sauces and one of few entrepreneurs to offer both seasonings and sauces in a single launch.

Before the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, Devan was busy running two Tasties restaurant locations; preparing for the grand opening of the new Tasties 302 takeout in Wilmington, DE; and brainstorming the perfect recipe for a new line of specialty seasonings and sauces. While her top go-to ingredients and popular sauces proved to be a hit among customers at Tasties, curating the perfect blend of gourmet spices required a new and exciting level of detail. The taste needed to be perfect. Then, the impact of COVID-19 hit and with little to no notice, doors closed on the profitable fine dining restaurant in West Philadelphia and a heavily promoted opening of the Delaware location faced delay. Employees were laid off. Production and planning came to an abrupt halt. Then, the lootings began. Tasties restaurants were damaged during the protests and the devastations of 2020 nearly killed Devan's entrepreneurial spirit.
"Struggle was a part of the recipe." More than a slogan or mantra, it became a part of everyday life and a source of motivation for Devan. She knew it was a message that would resonate and speak truth to business owners across the world. New hoodies featuring the slogan will also be available for purchase on November 13.
Undeterred by what seemed to be never-ending setbacks, Devan put her heart, unrelenting spirit, and soul into her recipes.
