Dr. Michel Rantissi, Jr: Covid-19 Protection for Patients and Staff

One of the first things done to protect both patients and staff from contracting Covid-19 is to cut back on the hours that the Advanced Manual Therapy Institute is open. Masks (or face shields) are mandatory for all staff members and patients.

Staff members will wear gloves and practice good handwashing skills. Hand sanitizer is provided through the office for everyone to use.

All equipment, including clipboards and pens, are sanitized after each use. The six-distance rule is followed in the waiting room and in other office areas where it is appropriate.

We prefer the patient to come to their visit by themselves. If the patient is handicap and needs assistance, their caregiver may bring them in and take them out. If weather permitting, we ask that you wait in your car during their visit.

All chairs, handrails, computers, equipment used for treatments, doorknobs, counters, and high traffic areas are sanitized frequently. Deep cleaning is done regularly to keep our patients and staff healthy.
