CHARLESTON, SC / ACCESSWIRE / November 2, 2020 / People dream of working as their own boss and working at their own pace. Most entrepreneurs can do this, having started businesses in industries they are passionate about. Julianne Taylor is among those who can proudly say they work for no one but herself.
For as long as she can remember, Julianne has always been an entrepreneur at heart. Coupled with her drive as a self-starter, she has always been able to work hard and with flexibility. Julianne studied at the University of Georgia and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design before taking a Masters of Human Resource from the University of South Carolina. With a unique combination of creative and business experience, Julianne leveraged her backgrounds to create multiple streams of revenue.
In 2012, Julianne started Taylor Burke Home, a home decor brand that offers bold and new designs in interior design. Taylor Burke Home offers exceptional craftsmanship executing the designs from the mind of Julianne Taylor. Many of the designs are inspired by her many years of travel, cultural experiences, and a passion for all things beautiful and unique. The brand emphasizes the importance of details and proportion when creating their products or customizing them according to their clients' wants.
Taylor Burke Home proved to be a successful venture, but Julianne did not stop there. Never running out of ideas, she created Julianne Taylor Style in 2015. A lifestyle umbrella company for business coaching, lifestyle & destination digital content creation, and interior & product design, Julianne continued to put her ideas and experience into work.
When the pandemic struck, Julianne Taylor and many business owners and entrepreneurs were forced to refocus their business offerings as the consumer environment was shaken from the norm. With more time on her hands, Julianne began to dive into technology to learn new skills that could benefit her business in the long run. She downloaded TikTok, the video-sharing social networking service, on a whim earlier this year.
Before diving into video creation, Julianne Taylor researched how to use the app. She spent months watching tutorials and following the trends to fully understand the app's inner working so she could capitalize on it to drive business for her coaching service. Julianne sees TikTok as the dawn of edutainment, a wordplay on education and entertainment, with people searching for small sound bites of rich knowledge presented entertainingly.
Since then, Julianne quickly developed a loyal following with people devouring her tips on business and communication strategies in quick 15 to 30 second sound bites. She has amassed over 50k followers, which is still growing. TikTok, Julianne found, is the fastest growing social media platform and the only place to get viral growth in a short amount of time. Julianne uses the app to drop what she calls "knowledge nuggets" and create content for her brand partnerships.
Julianne Taylor is now creating guides and e-books for people who want to get up to speed on the app and grow quickly.
