LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / November 16, 2020 / Business GPS, which helps small businesses receive government loans, improve cash flow, decrease vendor and commercial rental payments, and negotiate loans and leases to better terms - all on contingency, supports the Small Business Saturday Coalition which takes place on Nov 28th 2020.

"Small Business Saturday celebrates the diversity of small businesses across the U.S. and Business GPS recognizes the importance of supporting small businesses, the jobs they help create, and the culture they foster in local communities,' says Joseph Meuse, Founder and President, Business GPS. "The pandemic heightens the urgency and importance of supporting our local small businesses."

Created by American Express in 2010, Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting the independent businesses that make communities unique and provide vital contributions to our economy. Since Small Business Saturday started in 2010, consumers have reported spending an estimated $120 billion across all 10 Small Business Saturdays combined.

Small businesses struggling to survive are depending on another round of stimulus but Congress is deadlocked. "Businesses need to do everything they can, right now, to ensure they will survive, whether they receive stimulus money or not," says Meuse, whose company helps small businesses navigate through the thorny approval process for SBA funding.

Meuse advises that small businesses take the following six steps which is outlined in Grit Daily column. "Think outside the box regarding finances," says Meuse. "Even in today's business environment there are still lenders that are actively lending based off credit score or based on assets such as equipment, real estate, account receivables and even inventory. Offer discounts to customers -buying more time is worth it. Find where you can leverage what you have."

Meuse is vocal about how best to support local restaurants by NOT using food delivery apps which he wrote about in Grit Daily.

A serial entrepreneur over the past 30 years, Meuse is a thought leader in business transformation and financial management. Meuse's byline has appeared in Chief Executive Magazine, Home Business magazine and Grit Daily. Meuse shared his point of view on building the post-Covid economy in Authority Magazine.
