During the event, Ford joined a panel of industry experts for an educational session titled "Virtual Health's Big Moment: How Health Systems are Rapidly Scaling to Meet Demand." Earlier in the month, Ford led the discussion "Telehealth connectivity: Bringing telehealth to the developing world and the wider population" during the Telehealth Online Virtual Summit. Ford served as moderator for a panel that included executives from provider organizations, women's health initiatives, health plans and others, where the discussion focused on topics including bridging the digital divide to underserved communities with no access to broadband; introducing virtual care platforms to areas of need; how healthcare providers can increase access to convenient, efficient, high-quality care to their patients; and the must haves when shopping for a virtual care platform.
