Terrance Disman, better known as Cutty, grew up in New Jersey. He has been running a YouTube channel called Cutty TV. This indie platform gives opportunities to young, aspiring artists and small business owners to showcase their brands, products, and services.
Cutty started his channel as a means to help the troubled youth and provide them with the proper venue to showcase their talent. Knowing that many of them simply lack the proper guidance and means to express themselves, Cutty has been helping them escape from a life of delinquency.
His motivation to help the youth escape a life of delinquency started when his little brother was incarcerated at the age of 16, losing his brother and best friend devastated Cutty. He is currently on his second appeal, and Cutty has been doing everything he can to help not just his brother but the next generation from repeating the same mistakes.
Since the age of 22, Cutty has not only been running his channel consistently but has also given the artists that he works with the opportunities to be featured in major shows and tours with established artists. For many of the artists, Cutty has given them the chance to leave the state for the first time.
Cutty has also interviewed more than 20+ indie artists on his YouTube channel. His channel has been running for five years and has maintained a successful stint, even earning a nomination for the Philly Hip-Hop Award in 2018 for Best Webcast/TV Platform.
Apart from giving artists the chance to shine, Cutty has also recently dropped a mixtape, which puts the works of artists from across the country into one mixed tape. It is titled Worldwide Tunes, and he had it distributed to over twenty-five countries around the globe. Cutty has also been featured in the mobile video game, where he is a playable character. Everybody Beefs is a game where music artists, comedians, and other entertainers promote themselves to a broad audience.
This year, Cutty announced his blog called Jersey Watch, which serves as another platform to give indie artists new opportunities, something that New Jersey has been lacking. He has been using his platforms to ensure that the next generation, the ones neglected by their families who could potentially grow up to get into trouble, have a chance to earn a better life.
Cutty is hopeful that his channel will grow and eventually broadcast their programs and interviews on television. He is currently working to make Jersey Watch one of the biggest blogs on the East Coast.
