Torchlight Energy Resources, Inc. Announces Closing of Underwritten Public Offering of Common Stock

PLANO, TX / ACCESSWIRE / May 20, 2020 / Torchlight Energy Resources, Inc. (NASDAQ:TRCH), an energy company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, exploitation and/or development of oil and natural gas properties in the United States, today announced the closing of its previously announced underwritten public offering of 3,450,000 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $0.34 per share, which included the full exercise by the underwriter of the over-allotment option of 450,000 shares. Total gross proceeds were approximately $1.17 million, before deducting underwriting discounts and other offering expenses payable by the company.

The company intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for drilling obligations at its Hazel Project and Orogrande Project and for general corporate purposes.
