Regional Franchisee Has Over 100 Locations
PHOENIX, AZ / ACCESSWIRE / August 22, 2019 / Taronis Technologies, Inc., (“Taronis” or “the Company”) (NASDAQ:TRNX), a leading clean technology company in the renewable resources and environmental conservation industry, recently announced the pilot installation for a new client with 83 hotel franchise locations under its majority-owned subsidiary, the Water Pilot, LLC (“Water Pilot”). This client had both the Water Pilot valve and the AI Navigator installed as a paid pilot test at a Holiday Inn franchise location in Plantation, Florida. Within only a few short weeks, the AI Navigator uncovered a major leak in the irrigation system on the premises. Based on the Company’s analysis, this leak would have cost an estimated $13,000 or more in annual water bills. As the leak was underground, it would have otherwise gone uncovered.
“This is an excellent validation point for the benefit of our water conservation technology,” commented Scott Mahoney, CEO of Taronis. “The AI Navigator installation process cost less than $2,000 for our client. Very quickly, our technology uncovered a major leak, and paid for itself six-fold. We see this as a clear benefit to our client, and could be a strong selling point for them to consider installations at all of their hotel locations. This relationship could generate upwards of $450,000 in new sales.”
“Financially, this is a huge win for our client, and equally importantly, avoids the needless waste of precious fresh water resources. Annual global fresh water consumption for industry and residential needs is approximately 1,188 trillion gallons. Our technology has a demonstrated ability to reduce global water consumption by approximately 20%, or 650 billion gallons of water per day,” concluded Mr. Mahoney.
