Kadmon Announces Appointment of Arthur Kirsch to Board of Directors

(NYSE: KDMN) today announced that Arthur Kirsch has been nominated to stand for election to Kadmon's Board of Directors at the upcoming annual meeting of shareholders on May 15, 2019. Mr. Kirsch has more than 40 years of experience leading global healthcare research and investment banking operations and also serves on the boards of several emerging biopharmaceutical companies.

Mr. Kirsch is a Senior Advisor and Head of Healthcare at GCA Global, an investment bank providing strategic M&A, capital markets and private funds advisory services to growth companies and market leaders. From 1994 to 2004, Mr. Kirsch was Global Head of Healthcare Research, with more than 200 companies under coverage, and later served as Head of Capital Markets at Vector Securities, a healthcare investment banking boutique that was later acquired by Prudential Securities. From 1990 to 1993, Mr. Kirsch was Chief Executive Officer of NatWest Markets, currently the investment banking arm of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group. Mr. Kirsch began his career on Wall Street at Drexel Burnham Lambert, where he served as Executive Vice President of the Global Equity Division, a member of the Executive Committee and notably was a #1-ranked Institutional Investor research analyst.

Mr. Kirsch serves on the Board of Directors of Liquidia Technologies, Inc., a public nanotechnology healthcare company, where he is also Chair of the Audit Committee. He previously served on the Board of Directors of Immunomedics, a public biopharmaceutical company, where he also served on the Audit Committee. Mr. Kirsch serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors at Aralez, Inc., a publicly traded biopharmaceutical company, where he is also Chair of the Audit Committee. Mr. Kirsch received his B.A. in Finance from the University of Rhode Island and his MBA in Finance from Bernard M. Baruch College.
