Matt Willson, VP of Sales and Marketing for Deringer-Ney, says, "As part of the COMPAMED Suppliers Forum hosted by DeviceMed, Dr. Peter Hale of Deringer-Ney will present a technical talk titled 'Precious Metal and Electrical Contacts'. We're very excited to take part in the forum."

Matt states that Dr. Hale had been part of the Deringer-Ney team for 12 years and has held the positions of Senior Research Metallurgist, Manager of Advanced Technology, and currently, Manager of Applications and Product Development. His presentation will be on November 14th at 12:10 pm in Hall 8B, Stand G40.

The COMPAMED Suppliers Forum discusses a broad range of topics important to the medical device industry. On Monday, November 12, Bernie Stritzke with Qure Medical will speak on silicone versus TPE and give insights into the properties and capabilities of the two. Thor Rollins with Nelson Laboratories LLC is set to speak in the late morning about the changing regulations and how they can affect biocompatibility evaluations. Monday afternoon will have a special session on "Additive Manufacturing".

Tuesday's agenda includes lectures on packaging and technologies to protect medical electronics. A late morning lecture will focus on changes in biocompatibility test strategies and the impacts that they will have on medical device manufacturers around the world.

Wednesday lectures include labeling practices, the precious metal and electrical contacts lecture by Peter Hale of Deringer-Ney, as well as an introduction to laser-driven light sources and their applications. Currently, the languages of the lectures and presentations are set to be provided in German or English.
