OULU, FINLAND / ACCESSWIRE / September 14, 2018 / Valossa, a leading video recognition and content intelligence company announced today the availability of its video recognition service through Veritone's aiWARE platform. The collaboration enables Veritone customers to gain access to Valossa's market-leading visual object and inappropriate content recognition capabilities.

Valossa Video Recognition APIs for inappropriate visual content and object labels have been integrated to Veritone's aiWARE platform. Users of Veritone aiWARE can now benefit from Valossa's powerful labelling capabilities when recognizing visual information from videos.

Valossa's Veritone offering is based on Valossa AI™, a comprehensive technology platform offering deep audio-visual content metadata for videos via Video and Image Recognition, and Video Insight Platform™ that allows users to inspect, profile, train, and search videos. Video Recognition detects and identifies faces, tags visual objects, logos, places and activities, sounds and speech, and also flags inappropriate content. Valossa also offers the possibility to customize recognition models for individual use cases. Valossa Video Recognition has been optimized for media industry use cases and delivers world-class performance for a variety of workflow tasks, with the most recent example being content compliance and moderation.

Veritone aiWARE platform consists of several independent cognitive engines that process information at volumes and speeds designed to mimic and exceed the processes of the human brain. The platform is built to address distinct use cases and media types. aiWARE platform enables media companies, brands, networks and teams to grow their audience, enhance workflow efficiencies, improve the efficacy of ad campaigns, index live and archived media content, and unlock hidden revenue streams.

"Customers will highly benefit from our collaboration. The combination of Valossa's best of the breed video recognition capability and innovative aiWARE platform delivers great value to any business needing state-of-the-art video recognition engines," said Sami Niska, Chief Sales Officer of Valossa.

Valossa will demonstrate its AI platform at the IBC Show 2018, RAI Amsterdam, from September 14th - 18th at Hall 9 booth LP34.
