The KWATT Coin, Which is Being Offered by the Utility Company 4NEW, Can Be Used for Cryptocurrency Transactions or as a Global Utility Coin

The KWATT is a tokenization of the company's electricity which can be staked for cryptocurrency transactions or used more broadly as a global utility coin.

The KWATT token embodies within it one kilowatt of electricity for a year, produced by 4NEW's own waste to energy (WTE) power plants. Each plant takes in 50,000-100,000 tonnes of waste annually, processing it in an environmentally-friendly method, to create 4NEW's electricity. The energy produced is used to power its onsite cryptocurrency mining farm, with surplus sold to the national grid. The company plans to build its third WTE plant in 2019.

As the KWATT represents electricity on the blockchain, it is available for utilization by miners.
