Royal Holiday Honored with Plaque from Colonias de Vacaciones
MONTEREY, MEXICO / ACCESSWIRE / January 10, 2018 / Since 2015, the Royal Holiday Vacation Club, through their Royal Holiday Foundation, has been providing underprivileged children with the opportunity to enjoy their first vacation so that they can learn to love travel. On July 18, 2017, the foundation was honored for their ''Vacations are a Right for All'' campaign with a plaque from community assistance group Colonias de Vacaciones commemorating their efforts.
The Royal Holiday Foundation first launched their ''Vacations are a Right for All'' campaign in 2015 with the goal of providing a first vacation experience for underprivileged children that might not otherwise have the opportunity to go on vacation. The Royal Holiday Foundation and its sponsor, the Royal Holiday Vacation Club, believe strongly that everyone has the right to enjoy a vacation, whether they have the financial means or not. To date, the vacation camps provided by The Royal Holiday Foundation have allowed 1,650 needy children to experience their very first vacations, complete with games, sports, socializing, learning opportunities, and above all, fun.
Community assistance group Colonias de Vacaciones honored the Royal Holiday Foundation for their philanthropic efforts with the presentation of a plaque reading ''Thank you Royal Holiday for helping thousands of children experience the first vacation of their lives.'' The plaque was accepted by Royal Holiday Foundation Board Chairman Luis Ricardo Sanchez, after which Royal Holiday Vacation Club President, Pablo Gonzales Carbonell, thanked the attendees and delivered an address to children currently attending camp. After the plaque was unveiled, attendees were invited to tour the vacation camp in progress and witness the activities children were participating in on their first ever vacations.
