LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / May 31, 2017 / Decision Diagnostics Corp. (OTC PINK: DECN), the manufacturer, quality plan administrator, and the exclusive worldwide sales, service, and regulatory processes agent for the GenUltimate!™ glucose test strips, designed to work with the market leading Johnson & Johnson's ("J&J") LifeScan OneTouch Ultra family of glucose testing meters, and the pre-market ready GenSure!™ and GenChoice!™ test strips, and the in-development meter and test strip system GenPrecis! for the U.S., EU and/or developing world markets, today announces the retirement of its long time Chairman, Robert Jagunich.
Robert Jagunich commented, "It is with regret that I am taking my leave of DECN. Having just reached my 70th birthday, I have decided to retire and move my life in a different direction. The company is in capable hands and I am confident that the future will reward all who have labored and invested in its success."
Mr. Jagunich has loyally and capably served the company and its shareholders since January 2003. His contributions have been extensive and selfless. He energetically tackled every requested task and met every challenge. His presence, counsel, and enthusiasm will be missed.
Keith Berman, Principal Executive and Director of Decision Diagnostics, commented, "Bob Jagunich and I have known and worked together for 39 years. I have relied on his intelligence, business acumen and common sense during that entire time. He is a close friend and his contributions will leave a void within our Board. We will identify and elect a new director, but quite frankly, Bob Jagunich cannot be replaced."
The company intends to shortly begin evaluating candidates for the now vacant seat on the Board of Directors.
