DENVER, CO / ACCESSWIRE / March 8, 2017 / Des Hague, William Caruso and Stephen Young, WC&P Partners, announced this week that WC & Partners Inc. (WC&P) has formed a strategic alliance with Gastrotec, S.p.a., headed by Gastrotec's President, William Taunton, FCSI.

WC&P is currently one of the leading foodservice, laundry and solid waste facilities planning and design consulting firms worldwide with over 9,000 completed projects in 30 countries around the world, a record few if any others in this field can match. Gastrotec's expertise lies in the development of professional foodservice and laundry planning and design services in the Latin American Markets with more than 15 years of experience and projects developed throughout Latin America. The strategic alliance positions WC&P to continue its growth in Central and South America and to better serve clients in the Latin American market.

Founded by William J. Caruso in 1986, WC & Partners, Inc. ("WC&P") has a long legacy in delivering best-in-class work globally in the independent food facilities consulting and design field. WC&P is known for creation of unique but highly functional food/beverage spaces in the properties the team has designed, which include Stadiums & Arenas, Healthcare, Education, Public Assembly, Convention Center and Correctional Facilities as well as Hotels, Clubs and Corporate Headquarters. WC&P is led by Founding Partner – William J. Caruso, FFCSI, ISHC – one of the well-known planning and design visionaries in this very specialized industry. Under his leadership, WC&P has shown consistent growth over the past 30+ years and now counts numerous offices worldwide. The firm is headquartered in Denver with additional North American offices in Philadelphia, San Francisco and Scottsdale, European offices in Berlin, Düsseldorf and Athens and, with the strategic alliance, Latin American offices in Santiago and San Salvador.

"The expansion into Latin America is the culmination of many years of association with Bill Taunton, the recent Worldwide President of Foodservice Consultants Society International (FCSI)," said Caruso before continuing, "I could not think of a more professional and ethical colleague than Bill and we are thrilled to have him and his expert staff join with us in this new expansionary venture. In addition, we will soon announce more exciting office expansion plans in South America to ensure that we serve all of the unique markets that this vast and culturally rich territory has to offer," concluded Caruso.

Hailed as the "Go-To Design Firm" by many industry experts in the hospitality and foodservice field, WC&P and/or its staff excel at creating potential for profits through efficient planning for operational effectiveness, reduced capital needs and accelerated project goal realization. Some of WC&P's current and recently completed high visibility projects and/or notable clients include, but are not limited to, the soon to be built new Texas Rangers Ballpark, Madison Square Garden, Hard Rock Stadium (Miami Dolphins), the Westin/Denver International Airport, Oklahoma State University – School of Hotel and Restaurant Administration and Las Vegas Convention Center Authority.

"WC&P is seeing unprecedented growth," said Hague. "There is a clear trend of our clients' projects becoming more and more international based and we realize it is essential that we keep expanding our capabilities and reach globally. William Taunton has developed a world class reputation and client list. We look forward to joining our capabilities to provide even greater services in the years ahead from our 9 offices worldwide," concluded Hague.

Gastrotec was founded in 1998 in Santiago, Chile, by William Taunton, FCSI, and was the first independent foodservice consulting firm in the region. Born in the world of foodservice equipment distribution, Taunton realized the lack of professional consulting services many years ago. He left the family business and decided to pioneer this field in his native Chile. Not finding a large clientele there initially, he was forced to expand to other countries, developing its first international project in 2002. To date, Taunton has led Gastrotec to develop projects in virtually all of the countries of Latin America.

From Gastrotec's headquarters in Santiago, the firm has developed design projects while its El Salvador office, led by Juan Matamoros, FCSI, develops projects related to Management Advisory Services. Taunton and his associates have completed high impact projects in areas as diverse as Healthcare, Education, Stadiums, Clubs, Mining, Hotels, Restaurants, QSR, Commissary Kitchens, Food Facilities and Cruise Ships.

"I am thrilled with the opportunities that this alliance will bring to our firm, but most of all being able to help our clients to get the best service and experience for their projects in the region," stated Taunton. "From now on, Latin American clients will be able to have local market knowledge but with a huge global experience," concluded Taunton.
