TARPON SPRINGS, FL / ACCESSWIRE / January 18, 2017 / Brian Buckley, Sales Manager of Thunder Energies Corporation, a publicly traded company with the stock symbol TNRG (OTC PINK: TNRG), announces that CEOCFO Magazine ( has conducted an interview of Dr. Ruggero M. Santilli, Thunder Energies Chief Scientist, and released to its readers an article on Thunder Energies revolutionary technology for the detection of smuggled nuclear weapons (

Dr. Santilli states: "As the threat of a domestic nuclear weapons event increases, the need for a reliable and scalable solution that can be developed, tested, and deployed quickly has reached a critical stage, Following the investment of seven hundred million dollars, the Department of Homeland Security has been unable to identify a technology capable of detecting WMD smuggled in containers or baggages ( Thunder Energies Corporation has developed a revolutionary new technology allowing the detection of nuclear weapons via the use of a source of low energy neutrons synthesized from the hydrogen gas (international patent pending,"

"When materials triggering a nuclear explosion, such as Uranium 235, are exposed to X-rays or other probes, they appear as ordinary metals, thus not being clearly distinguished from other materials. By contrast, then Uranium 235 or other nuclear materials are exposed to a flux of low energy neutrons, they break down into components by releasing a variety of easily detectable radiations. The increase in radiations over the background is immediate and can be instantly detected with a variety of neutron and other detectors. This process is the basis for the Thunder Energies Nuclear Weapon Detection Station ("

"Thunder Energies Nuclear Weapon Detection Station is being designed as a self-contained pass-through or bridge-over section of a luggage/freight conveyor or truck drive-thru. Components of the station would be enclosed and shielded for worker safety. Operation of the neutron generator and detectors would be remotely controlled, and computer software would monitor and record any anomalies in the neutron flux as luggage and freight pass through the station. Suspected items would be identified and pulled from the line for further inspection. Much like a shielded x-ray machine, use of the nuclear weapon detection station would not pose any lingering radiation threat to the luggage or, if encountered, nuclear contraband. The low fission cross-section is not high enough to trigger an atomic chain reaction, and the radiation from the flux is absorbed and dissipates within 12 minutes. As arriving airfreight and baggage moves from the tarmac to baggage claim, incoming international baggage can be routed through the NWDS quickly and without long delays ("
